Blue Fire Theatre is opening the arts, via a variety of workshops, to any area youth interested in participating.
By setting the registration fee on a pay what you wish structure, it allows anyone ages
7-18 years old the opportunity to participate regardless of ability to pay.
Stage & Song Summer Intensive Workshop
🔥 ATTENTION TEENS (13–18)! 🔥
Ready to take the stage this summer? Join us for the Stage & Song Summer Intensive Workshop—a high-energy, performance-driven experience where your voice, acting, and movement come together!
🎭 What to Expect:
✨ Sing in 3–4 part harmony
✨ Perform selections from the Broadway Songbook
✨ Build skills in vocal performance, acting, and dance
✨ Work on solo, small group, and full ensemble numbers
✨ End the week with a live showcase performance!
📅 Dates: June 22–26
⏰ Time: 4:00–8:00 PM daily
🎤 Final Showcase: Friday (Call time: 4 PM | Show: 7 PM)

Jennifer Paulk
Jennifer Paulk is the resident vocal coach for Blue Fire Theatre and a passionate advocate for arts education in our local community. With an extensive background in stage, screen, voice-over, and television, Jennifer brings both professional experience and heartfelt mentorship to every performer she works with.
For the past four years, she has served as Vocal Director for Yulee High School theatre productions, helping bring shows such as The 25th Annual Put County Spelling Bee, Mean Girls, Once Upon a Mattress, and The Little Mermaid to life. In addition to her work in school theatre, Jennifer has maintained a private vocal studio, supporting children, teens, and adults of all ages in developing confidence, technique, and performance skills.
She regularly leads workshops and theatrical intensives and especially enjoys mentoring teenagers as they discover their voice and presence on stage. Jennifer also serves on the Board of Directors for theatre, continuing her commitment to growing and strengthening the performing arts community.
This fall, Jennifer will return to the stage in one of her most exciting roles yet, taking on the iconic role of Patsy Cline in Always… Patsy Cline.
Shelby Goodwin currently teaches AP Literature and is in her 10th year teaching English at Yulee High School. In 2023, she was selected as the Nassau County Teacher of the Year. For the last several years, Shelby has also taught musical theatre and co-directed and choreographed five YHS musical productions alongside fellow teacher and director Laura Swaim. You may have seen Shelby as Bobbi Michele in Last of the Red Hot Lovers back in 2022.
Shelby is honored to be joining Blue Fire’s teen camp this summer and so excited to work with talented young performers in the community!
