— ABOUT THE PLAY —
“Witty, wise and wonderful” A staged reading of monologues and ensemble pieces about women, clothes and memories.
Though sometimes funny, it is full of bittersweet and poignant memories.
This script contains some adult subject matter and
limited adult language and situations.
— AVAILABLE ROLES —
* Non-equity only *
Various roles for women ages 30 and older. These are mostly monologues and they will be assigned to each actress cast
during the first read through.

— PREPARATIONS —
-
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
-
If you would like to come prepared, please see the five monologues below to choose from. We will have these five monologues on hand at auditions, plus you may also be asked to read from the script.
-
If you are uncomfortable with adult situations and limited adult language, we recommend reading the monologues provided below to determine if this is the right fit for you.
-
Please bring a headshot and resume if you have them available. This is not a requirement. (A selfie is okay in lieu of a professional headshot)
-
Please bring ALL known conflicts from AUGUST 1 until the final performance which could be OCTOBER 19.
-
Rehearsals - Currently rehearsals will be at 6:30 on August 8, 22, September 5, 18, 25, 26, and October 3. Due to the fact that this is a staged reading the need for rehearsals is minimal. We do have some wiggle room to switch out some dates if needed and
would ask the same of you should we need to add any rehearsals.
